Developed and designed for demanding industrial applications, the new AVS701 from E+E Elektronik sets new standards in air and gas flow velocity measurement. Maximum efficiency and process reliability are achieved through highly accurate measurements, easy installation enabled by precise sensor positioning, and an integrated process gas library. An optional external pressure sensor compensates for changes in ambient pressure. Equipped with a robust ceramic sensing element featuring a special coating and a stainless-steel probe head, the sensor ensures highly precise results even under extreme or corrosive conditions.

Visually and technically redesigned, the air and gas velocity sensor delivers top performance in accuracy and reliability while offering significantly simpler installation. It is optimized for demanding industrial applications within a measuring range of 0 to 40 m/s and –40 to +140 °C. Its versatility makes it suitable for a broad spectrum of uses—from pharmaceutical production to process monitoring in 3D printers. Thanks to a specially developed alignment crimp for the remote probe, the AVS701 can be precisely positioned relative to the flow direction using the supplied alignment tool.
