ASRock Industrial Launches AMD-Based Industrial Motherboards

ASRock Industrial has introduced a new range of industrial motherboards supporting AMD EPYC™ 4005/4004, Ryzen™ 9000/8000/7000 and Ryzen™ Embedded 9000/7000 processors.

The new platforms—including the IMB-A1700, IMB-A1302, IMB-A1003 and IMB-A1002 series—expand the company’s industrial computing portfolio with support for DDR5 memory, PCIe Gen5 expansion, multi-display capability and extensive industrial I/O, targeting applications such as computer vision, video analytics, AI workloads and edge computing systems.

IMB-A1700: ATX platform for high-performance computing
The IMB-A1700 ATX motherboard is designed for demanding workloads such as AI-driven video analytics and development platforms. It supports up to 256 GB of DDR5-5600 memory across four ECC/non-ECC U-DIMM slots.

Expansion capabilities include PCIe Gen5 x16 slots, configurable for single or dual GPU configurations, alongside additional PCIe Gen4 slots for accelerators and add-on cards. Storage options include M.2 NVMe support and four SATA3 ports with RAID 0/1/10.

The board also provides extensive connectivity with seven USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, eight USB 2.0 ports, six COM ports, three 2.5G LAN ports and one 1G LAN, as well as quad-display output via HDMI and DisplayPort.

IMB-A1302: Micro-ATX for balanced performance
The IMB-A1302 Micro-ATX motherboard offers high computing capability in a more compact design. Like the ATX model, it supports up to 256 GB DDR5 memory and AMD EPYC and Ryzen processors.

Expansion includes PCIe Gen5 x16 and PCIe Gen4 x4 slots, enabling GPU and accelerator integration. The platform also features M.2 NVMe storage, SATA RAID support and multiple 2.5G LAN ports, making it suitable for AI-enabled analytics systems and professional computing platforms.

IMB-A1003 and IMB-A1002: Mini-ITX for compact AI systems
The IMB-A1003 and IMB-A1002 Mini-ITX boards are designed for compact edge computing systems. Both support dual DDR5 memory configurations up to 96 GB and provide PCIe Gen5 x16 expansion for discrete GPUs.

Connectivity options include M.2 slots for wireless modules, while the IMB-A1002 adds 4G/5G connectivity via an M.2 Key B interface with SIM support. Both platforms also provide quad-display capability and Gigabit LAN connectivity.

Built for scalable industrial computing
The new motherboard series provides system integrators and OEMs with flexible computing platforms for AI-enhanced workloads, computer vision systems, embedded gaming platforms and high-performance development environments.

With support for AMD’s latest processor architectures and modern high-speed interfaces, the platforms are designed to deliver scalable performance for next-generation industrial and edge computing deployments.
