Mouser Electronics Now Stocking Dialog's Ultra-Small DA14531 SmartBond TINY SoC, Ideal for Medical Disposables
Mouser Electronics, Inc., the authorized global distributor with the newest semiconductors and electronic components, is now stocking the DA14531 SmartBond TINY system-on-chip (SoC) from Dialog Semiconductor.
The low-power, cost-effective DA14531 is the industry's smallest and most power-efficient Bluetooth® 5.1 SoC, enabling new classes of Internet of Things (IoT) devices, including the growing market for connected medical products.
As an authorized distributor, Mouser Electronics is focused on the rapid introduction of new products and technologies, giving customers an edge and helping speed time to market. Over 800 semiconductor and electronic component manufacturers count on Mouser to help them introduce their products into the global marketplace. Mouser's customers can expect 100% certified, genuine products that are fully traceable from each manufacturer.
The Dialog DA14531 SmartBond TINY SoC, available from Mouser Electronics, achieves a low system cost through a high level of integration. The SoC is based on an Arm® Cortex®-M0+ microcontroller with a complete set of analog and digital peripherals, and incorporates a 2.4 GHz transceiver in a minuscule form factor of just 2.0 × 1.7 mm. By adding just six external passives, a crystal oscillator, and power source, designers can build a complete Bluetooth Low Energy system for applications such as asset tracking, RFID tags, beacons, wearables, medical, and automotive applications.
Mouser also stocks the DA14531 SmartBond TINY Development Kits in Pro and USB versions. The DA14531 Development Kit Pro includes a Bluetooth Low Energy motherboard, daughterboard with the DA14531 SoC, and a mini-USB cable. The kit's extensive features include two mikroBUS header interfaces, Arduino Uno compatibility, and onboard 2-Mbit SPI data flash. The DA14531 Development Kit Pro allows users to perform RF measurements using an embedded printed antenna and SMA connector capability. The DA14531 Development Kit USB is a small, portable USB board with Bluetooth Low Energy technology, one mikroBUS connector, 2 Mbits of SPI flash, and an onboard DA14531 SoC.
