Mouser Electronics Now Stocking Doodle Labs' U.S. DoD- and NATO-Compliant Smart Radios

Mouser Electronics, Inc., the industry's leading New Product Introduction (NPI) distributor with the widest selection of semiconductors and electronic components, stocks the RM-5800, RM-915, and RM-2450 Smart Radios from Doodle Labs.

Mouser Electronics Now Stocking Doodle Labs' U.S. DoD- and NATO-Compliant Smart Radios

As part of the Smart Radio platform recently contracted by the U.S. Army's Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) and the U.S. Air Force's AFWERX, the multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO) mesh routers utilize state-of-the-art RF and networking capabilities for faster and reliable communication in drones and mobile robotic systems.

The Doodle Labs Smart Radio platform features self-forming and self-healing Mesh Rider® technology and dependable Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (MANET) that operate in the harshest environments, enabling high-performance radios for real-time video collaboration in the field. The high-speed data links are secure against infiltration, resilient against interference, and frequency agile for global, and interstellar applications. The Smart Radios, available in many frequency bands between 100 MHz and 6 GHz, are capable of carrying out all bi-directional communication (such as command and control and video streaming) in a single high-speed broadband RF channel.

RM-915, RM-2450, and RM-5800 Smart Radios are full-featured 2×2 MIMO radio and mesh routers that provide a long-range, high-throughput data link between one or more mobile units and a control station. The RM-915 (900 MHz) and RM-2450 (2450 MHz) Smart Radios offer a maximum HD video streaming range of 8 km (Pro model) and 20 km (Xtreme model). The RM-5800 radios also offer long-range transmission greater than 100 km, high throughput up to 100 Mbps, and exceptional multipath and near-line-of-sight (NrLOS) MIMO performance.

Doodle Labs' Smart Radios are available in many U.S. Department of Defense- and NATO-specific frequency bands. These routers have gone through a comprehensive process to obtain J/F-12 certifications, so government users can get the Authorization to Operate (ATO) clearance for their projects.
