New I/Os for field installation
Phoenix Contact is extending its portfolio of I/O systems for control- cabinet-free automation with the new generation of the Axioline E I/O system.
The devices have been designed to satisfy both the current and future requirements on field installation. With the high-level IP65/IP67 degree of protection and a fully encapsulated zinc die-cast housing, the I/O modules are ideal for direct use in a machine under the harshest ambient conditions.
The initial portfolio includes digital input/output devices and IO-Link masters as Profinet devices. All modules feature L-coded M12 connectors for the 2 x 16 A power supply.
In addition to the Profinet IO-Link masters, the initial portfolio includes a new IO-Link box with eight digital inputs and eight digital outputs. All devices of the new generation enable flexible field wiring with proven M12 screw connectors or the new M12 push-pull fast-connection technology.
