Beijer Electronics joins the ITxPT organization

We are happy to announce that Beijer Electronics has joined the ITxPT organization.ITxPT is a non-profit organization open to companies and organizations with an interest in developing public transport into the most efficient, sustainable and attractive means of travel.

The mission of the ITxPT Association is to enable interoperability between IT systems in public transport by offering public specification of an IT architecture based on standards with open interfaces for on-board, over-the-air and back-office IT systems. The ITxPT community gathers public transport operators & authorities, IT suppliers and vehicle manufacturers from all over the world to define solutions for the next generation mobility.

Beijer Electronics has joined the ITxPT organization in order to support the development and implementation of IT architecture for public transport and other mobility services together, based on standards and best practices.
