Mouser Now Stocking TE Connectivity's Active Optical Cable Assemblies for High-Performance Computing
Mouser is now stocking Active Optical cable assemblies from TE Connectivity. These cable assemblies offer improved cable flexibility and longer reach than traditional passive copper and emerging active copper (ACC/AEC) solutions, supporting high-performance networking, storage and data centre applications. The cable assemblies also provide longer reach, lighter-weight interconnects and a smaller bend radius than copper alternatives. These products offer a comprehensive range of form factors and data rates, providing a versatile solution for high-performance electronics designs. TE Connectivity offers small form-factor pluggable (SFP), quad small form-factor pluggable (QSFP), quad small form-factor pluggable double-density (QSFP-DD), and octal small form-factor pluggable (OSFP) assemblies in both straight and breakout configurations. Mouser and Analog Devices Support Initiative to Plant Thousands of Trees Across the United States
Mouser and Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI), a global semiconductor leader, have pledged to donate funds to One Tree Planted with the goal to plant up to 50,000 trees across the United States. Starting now, for every Mouser order placed in the U.S. region, including at least one line of ADI products, One Tree Planted will plant a tree in reforestation projects across the U.S. with a focus on urban forestation and forest fire recovery. This North American program is an extension of a successful 2023 charitable initiative underway in Europe where Mouser and ADI have seen over 91,000 orders placed so far, to be equally divided between projects supporting Climate Resilient Restoration in Germany, Essex Forest Initiative in England and Nationwide Community Tree Cover in Ireland. The trees will be planted in the autumn during the planting season. One Tree Planted is a non-profit group focused on global reforestation. As an official partner of the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, they have planted over 40 million trees in more than 47 countries across the globe since 2014.

Mouser Now Stocking Renesas CK-RA6M5 Cloud Kit, Featuring Multiple Onboard Sensors for Home and Building Automation
Mouser is now stocking the CK-RA6M5 cloud kit from Renesas Electronics. Based on the RA6M5 32-bit microcontroller group, the CK-RA6M5 cloud kit features a broad range of onboard sensors, including temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, and environmental air quality. This cloud kit features LTE CAT-M1 and Ethernet network connectivity interfaces, while a broad range of add-on devices support additional cloud connectivity options. This cloud kit includes two MEMS microphones for voice command applications, SpO2 and indoor/outdoor AQI sensors, an onboard debugger (J-LINK or E2OB) and an Arduino Uno interface. The cloud kit also includes the popular Digilent Pmod (Type 2A and Type 6A) connectors to add other sensors or connectivity options. It also has USB Full Speed and USB Serial ports. This product is supported by a comprehensive software suite, including a complete software stack using Renesas software packages, Flexible Software Package, and the new IoT Quick Connect Studio platform. Amazon Web Service (AWS) and Microsoft Azure cloud applications are also supported, and the integrated generic applications are cloud agnostic. Mouser Now Shipping Amphenol's MIL-HD2 Next-Gen VITA 91 Connectors
Mouser is now stocking the MIL-HD2 Next-Gen SOSA™/VITA 91 connectors from Amphenol Aerospace. Developed in alignment with The Open Group Sensor Open Systems Architecture™ (SOSA) technical standard, MIL-HD2 provides developers with a readily available, robust open architecture solution for tighter card pitches and chassis designs where space requirements and density are critical. These connectors are designed to achieve PAM4 data rate requirements of 56 GBytes per second, with a high density of 1.8 mm pitch. Their scalable data rate capability allows designers to implement system upgrades without the costs of complicated redesigns. The connectors also feature proprietary crosstalk-reducing technologies and provide an embedded capacitor and enable hot plugging, while a 15.7mil drill-compliant pin supports deeper back drilling. The connectors' shielded contacts mate before signal contacts, providing a minimum wipe of up to 4 mm. These products demonstrate improved impedance matching, meeting the performance requirements of next-generation military and aerospace electronics designs. They support a range of applications, including radar, sensors, surveillance, cyber defence, electronic warfare and low earth orbit satellites.
