Kontron, a leading global supplier of IoT/Embedded Computer Technology (ECT), is expanding its range of board line products based on the powerful i.MX93 dual-core processor from NXP. The cost-effective CPU board impresses with its versatility and performance. The BL i.MX93 offers a combination of powerful processors and modern interfaces, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
The BL i.MX93 offers a wide range of interfaces and connectivity options. These include an LVDS display interface that supports high-resolution displays and provides clear visualization for automation solutions. The MIPI CSI camera interface allows camera modules to be connected for image and video applications. Of particular note are the two Gigabit Ethernet ports which, in addition to standard interfaces such as USB, serial and CAN bus, provide reliable network connectivity for data-intensive applications. The board is powered by a 1.7 GHz Dual Arm® Cortex®-A55 microprocessor and supports up to 2GB of LPDDR4 RAM and up to 64GB of eMMC.
At the heart of the board's performance is the Arm® Ethos™-U65 microNPU, which provides an efficient platform for machine learning applications. The product is completed by a 250 MHz Arm® Cortex®-M33 co-processor that supports real-time control of machine-based processes.
The new BL i.MX93 provides a platform for developers to create advanced applications. With enhanced interfaces, a powerful microNPU and real-time coprocessor, it combines performance, cost efficiency and power savings.
