Acceed Launches High-Speed PCIe DAQ Cards for Precision Measurement

The multifunctional DAQ cards PCIe-9146 and PCIe-9147 are powerful new developments that enable precise and highly flexible data acquisition in demanding applications. These PCIe cards combine simultaneous data acquisition on multiple channels with speed and precision. This makes them equally suitable for general use in professional measurement technology as well as for tasks in industrial automation or research and development. Thanks to their ability to capture multiple signals simultaneously, they offer an optimal solution for applications where synchronisation and high resolution are crucial, such as vibration detection.

The two new DAQ cards, PCIe-9146 and PCIe-9147, are simultaneous sampling multifunction PCIe cards that meet a wide range of application requirements. They can simultaneously sample four or eight analogue input channels with different configurations to achieve maximum noise reduction. They also offer two-channel 16-bit analogue outputs with the ability to generate waveforms that can be executed together with the analogue input functions. Their high-density design allows multiple functions to be integrated into a single card, enabling quick and easy deployment in a wide variety of application scenarios, such as data logging, process control or monitoring tasks in laboratories, medicine or biotechnology.

The PCIe-9146 and PCIe-9147 are further developments of the successful DAQe-2000 series. As with their predecessors, their key feature is simultaneous data acquisition, i.e. the simultaneous acquisition and digitisation of multiple measurement signals. For many applications, it is crucial to acquire different signals or measurement values in a precisely synchronised time frame in order to obtain correct, accurate and repeatable data. Another strength of the cards lies in the market-driven combination of important functions such as AD, DA and DIO.

This makes the cards a universally applicable, cost-efficient, compact and versatile solution, especially in more complex measurement and test systems. The PCI Express bus enables ultra-fast data transfer and ensures stable performance during complex data acquisition processes. Both DAQ cards offer very high accuracy with 16-bit resolution for the analogue-to-digital converter (A/D). This is a prerequisite for further signal processing and therefore crucial for most applications.

The flexibly selectable input voltage range from ±10 V to ±0.3125 V allows easy adaptation to a wide variety of sensors and measuring devices. Triggers can be digital, analogue or software-based. Direct Memory Access (DMA) allows data to be transferred directly between the card and the working memory, thus reducing the load on the CPU. This results in improved system performance and shorter response times.

Both cards offer a data transfer rate of up to 2.5 GB/s via the PCIe x1 interface and fully automatic calibration for user-friendly setup. They are CE and RoHS compliant and can be operated in a temperature range from 0 to +70 °C. Acceed provides information about these and a wide range of other DAQ cards for professional and industrial applications on its website.
