Operation with a Turn of the Hand: The HGW 1033-32
With the new HGW 1033-32 wireless panel from SIGMATEK, operating comfort is key.
In addition to WLAN data transmission, which provides a brand new level of operating freedom, the handheld operating panel is equipped with Safety elements, a high-resolution 10.1-inch multi-touch display, as well as three rotary encoders.
Without cables, the operator can work close to the machine or robot and keep the process in completely view. The necessary safety is provided by the integrated Safety elements, confirmation switch, key switch and active illuminated emergency stop. The three rotary encoders on the front make set-up especially comfortable. The operator can keep an eye on the machine or robot and can for example, operate the axes via the rotary encoders almost blindly.
In addition, multiple processing cells can be operated with only one panel. For this purpose, a secure 7-segment display for machine identification is integrated. Data transfer, whether function-oriented or Safety data, is processed via the BWH 001 base station following the Black Channel principle. The redundant data transfer on separate WLAN frequency bands (2.4 and 5 GHz) increase the availability of the wireless network.
A dual-core EDGE2 technology processor provides the necessary visualization power, as well as the integrated battery pack, which guarantees 2 hours of continuous use without having to recharge the mobile panel. The HGW 1033-32 supports OPC-UA communication and has standard USB interfaces.
The wireless HGW family is continuously growing and offers diverse models for flexible operation of machines and systems. With or without Safety functions, with or without front rotary encoders, in portrait or landscape format – with the mobile WLAN panels from SIGMATEK, robot and machine operators are equipped for any situation.
