The HARTING India subsidiary has been distinguished as "Best Connector Company" by the trade journal BISinfotech. The publication presented the coveted BETA Award (BIS Excellence & Technovation Awards) in this category.

The award bolsters the subsidiary's position on the Indian market. In 2006, HARTING started with a sales office in India, and went on to add a production facility in 2008. HARTING manufactures housings, cable harnesses and cable assemblies in Chennai for customers in railway technology and mechanical engineering.
