New global Engineer Survey launched by Tektronix

Eligible respondents will have the opportunity to win a Digital Multimeter.

New global Engineer Survey launched by Tektronix

Tektronix, Inc. today launched a new global survey designed to provide greater insight into the technologies, challenges and opportunities faced by professional test and measurement engineers. The survey will investigate what engineers want and need from test and measurement manufacturers, how engineers interact with test and measurement software and the pain points facing test engineers across a range of industries.

Engineers are invited to take part in the survey until Friday, 7 May 2021, and the results will be announced in late May. Participants from eligible countries can enter a competition for the opportunity to win a digital multimeter, the Keithley DMM6500.

“At the heart of our customers’ innovation are their problem-solving engineers,” says Kristi Flores, vice president global marketing, Tektronix. “Whether it’s our work in the power sector or wireless communications, we know the work and the working conditions of engineers are constantly changing. We can’t wait to hear their latest insights from engineers, more than a year after the onset of Covid-19, and specifically learn from them how we can continue to deliver what engineers and our customers at large need to continue their game changing work in 2021 and beyond.”

The Keithley DMM 6500 is a powerful and flexible instrument which incorporates several built in measurement functions, like capacitance and temperature, as well as an app for cloud connectivity. Users can easily make low current and low resistance measurements on low-power devices, capture transient signals with the built-in fast digitizer, and see two measurements simultaneously on the same large touchscreen to maximize test data analysis.

The Tektronix Engineer Survey is open to all professional engineers and designers working on test and measurement solutions. The survey can be taken anonymously and takes approximately seven minutes to complete.

By sharing information on their experiences and needs in testing environments, survey participants will help inform the broader engineering community about the state of the industry and shape future products and services offered by Tektronix to engineer the future.
