Two reed relays you do not want to miss at Productronica India 2021
Productronica India is back again this year from 16th to 18th December 2021 in Bengaluru, but what products will be there that are worth looking out for?
Pickering Electronics, the reed relay company which has pioneered miniaturization and high performance for over 50 years, will showcase its latest range of high coil resistance reed relays for low power consumption; the Series 100HV and Series 100HC at Productronica India 2021 in Hall 3 at Booth C001.
Pickering launched the Series 100HV in September this year and has already seen a great deal of interest from many large Semiconductor and Instrumentation organizations worldwide.
These small Single-in-Line (SIP/SIL) reed relays are rated up to 3kV stand-off voltage and with more than double the coil resistance of previous devices (up to an impressive 6800 Ohms).
The high voltage reed relays speak variety and are suitable for many applications including mixed signal semiconductor testers, high-end cable testers, backplane testers, medical electronics, electric vehicles, solar energy, big physics, in-circuit test equipment and high voltage instrumentation.
Also on show will be the new Series 100HC high power SIL/SIP reed relays. Rated up to 3A continuous carry current and even higher levels in pulsed current applications.
Due to the high-power rating of up to 40 W (at 1 A switching) in many cases these relays may be used as an alternative to mercury wetted reed relays, helping users become RoHS compliant.
The Series 100 HC relays are suitable for low level or cold switching applications, and due to the high coil resistance figures of up to 6000 Ohms they are ideal for low power consumption.
