12th Gen Intel Core Powers New Framework Laptops
Framework has announced that its newest generation Framework Laptops – powered by the latest 12th Gen Intel® Core P-series processors – are available for pre-order. Framework’s 2nd generation systems feature up to 12th Gen Intel Core i7-1280P processors.

Framework’s 2nd generation systems bring 12th Gen performance to Framework’s repairable and upgradable laptops.
Additionally, 12th Gen Intel Core mainboards are available for waitlisting in the Framework Marketplace now – helping fulfill Framework’s upgradability mission by providing existing users the ability to upgrade from 11th Gen to 12th Gen Intel Core processors without having to buy a new system.
The Framework Laptop, which was launched in 2021, is designed to provide PC users with the power to upgrade, repair and customize their notebook systems without compromising on performance or accessibility. Utilizing modules that can be easily swapped in and out of the chassis – including mainboard modules that make processor upgrades possible – the Framework Laptop can last longer while adapting to a user’s computing needs as new generations of processors and accessories come to market.
These types of solutions can ultimately help reduce e-waste and further Intel’s commitment to enabling more sustainable technology solutions.
