MURATA TO SHOWCASE ITS SMALL RAIN RFID TAG AND HIGH-DRAIN SILVER-OXIDE AND MINI ALKALINE BATTERIES AT PHARMAPACK EUROPE 2023
Murata will showcase small RAIN RFID Tag as well as its HIGH-Drain Silver-Oxide and Mini Alkaline batteries for smart healthcare applications at Pharmapack Europe 2023 on 1 and 2 February.
Visitors will have the opportunity to learn how Murata’s RAIN RFID Tag has been designed to provide a unique identifier. The tag enables RFID readers to determine the item’s identity and authenticity in smart healthcare applications.
As a leader in multilayer ceramic substrates, Murata incorporated an antenna in multilayer ceramic substrates to produce a small and robust RFID tag capable of automatic identification and bulk reading of over 400 units/min for high throughput efficiency. This capability allows real-time identification at full production speeds, preventing any mix-up during drug-filling operations.
Murata, the inventor of the world’s first mercury-free silver oxide button cell batteries with over 40 years of engineering and manufacturing experience, has developed HIGH-Drain Mini Alkaline (LR) and Silver oxide (SR) batteries. Typical applications include dosing devices, insulin pumps/pens, and capsule endoscopes.
Murata's HIGH-Drain SR batteries are 100% made in Japan and offer excellent leakage resistance thanks to Murata's distinctive sealing structure and special sealing-material treatment. Moreover, they deliver excellent stable discharge characteristics.
