Filtronic showcases its integrated RF subsystems and filter technologies at AOC Europe
Filtronic, is exhibiting at AOC Europe to showcase its capabilities, including TRMs, transceiver modules and switched filter banks.
Filtronic’s track record with TRMs is enviable, they have been manufacturing high yield modules for global defence primes for >10 years. Coupled with the experience of designing their own high-performance transmit and receive modules at various frequency bands from their mmWave centre of excellence in Sedgefield, United Kingdom.
Filtronic will also display its range of switched filter banks, which consist of a combination of switches and filters integrated into a single module. This integration, which is completed in-house by Filtronic, helps minimise transitions between circuits, leading to optimal matching and physical size reduction.
“Electronic warfare is a core market for Filtronic. It is a growing part of modern conflict and governments around the world are increasing their investment in this technology. We’ve exhibited at AOC Europe before, and found that all of our major defence customers were in attendance, which made returning in 2023 an easy decision," explained Jerry Sanham, director of business development at Filtronic.
AOC Europe is run by the Association of Old Crows — an organisation for individuals that have common interests in electronic warfare, electromagnetic spectrum management operations and cyber electromagnetic activities. With a history spanning more than 25 years, AOC Europe is the association’s flagship international event.
