This adds another option to the Rutronik range. The Ethernet 800 series offers network adapters with different port numbers and form factors for the efficient and powerful use of server processors. The network adapters offer higher application throughput for demanding cloud workloads and optimized packet classification, and sorting for high-bandwidth networking and communications workloads. The Ethernet 800 Series offers speeds from 1 GbE up to 100 GbE and supports both new and enhanced features such as Application Device Queues (ADQ), Dynamic Device Personalization (DDP) and support for iWARP and RoCEv2 Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA). The network adapters offer workload-matched performance and the flexibility to meet changing network requirements and are available at www.rutronik24.com.

The Ethernet 800 Series continues to evolve, allowing developers to directly benefit from workload-optimized performance and flexibility to meet changing network requirements. Features such as reliability and proven interoperability with fast data transmission round off the components.

The E810-XXVDA2 impresses with

  • Increased security through HW Root-of-Trust and authentication when reading the NVM, as well as when switching on.
  • Improved performance and lower costs thanks to support via SFP+ and SFP28 transceivers.
  • better manageability through support of PLDM headers for more flexibility in FW management

The Ethernet Port Configuration Tool (EPCT) enables flexible port and speed combinations for the 100GbE 800 Series network adapters. EPCT provides a versatile solution for high-density, port-constrained network environments - turning one port into eight 10GbE ports, four 25GbE ports and more - with up to six configurations to choose from.

Features of the Intel® Ethernet Network Adapter E810-XXVDA2 at a glance:
