EMS Factory, based in Martillac (France), joins the group alongside Proto-Electronics, another pioneer in on-line electronic prototyping. This new step marks a significant turning point in this sector, where the Alliance intends to establish itself as the undisputed leader.
Both companies will retain their own brand identities and websites, while working together to offer an even more comprehensive range of services, making the offering unique.
Their complementarity and experience will enable the group to improve the quality of the services it offers and better meet customer needs.
EMS Factory's unique expertise in rework, wiring, RX, engineering and varnishing will be a major asset for the Alliance. Damien Rossignon, President of Alliance Electronics, expressed the group's admiration for the work accomplished by the EMS Factory team, underlining the excellence of their industrial facilities: “We have enormous respect for what Damien Michaud and Pierre-Yves Sempère have built up over the last 11 years, and we are convinced that this acquisition will strengthen our position as market leader”.
Damien Michaud, co-founder of EMS Factory and who will remain at the head of the company, welcomed the perspectives opened up by this alliance: “I'm enthusiastic about the Alliance's plans for the future, the growth resources that will be made available, and the possibility of offering EMS Factory's customers capacities for larger production runs.”
Armel Fourreau, CEO of Alliance Electronics, also expressed his satisfaction with the acquisition: “This alliance fits in perfectly with our strategy of offering a wide range of services covering engineering, prototyping, industrialization, and small and medium production runs. This merger will soon enable us to achieve sales of €20 million in our prototyping business”.
The importance of digital technology, shared experience and expertise will be at the heart of this new collaboration, to offer customers innovative, tailor-made electronic prototyping solutions.
With the acquisition of EMS Factory, Alliance Electronics now has 9 companies under its umbrella, including Altrics, JTC Micro-Electronics, Atems, Elekto, TME, ACE Electronics, Edgeflex, and Proto- Electronics.
This new union will bring synergies and complementary skills to the benefit of all stakeholders.
