Anritsu Showcases High-Frequency Design Tools at EuMW 2025

Anritsu Corporation will have a strong presence across  European Microwave Week (EuMW 2025) on 21– 26 September 2025, in Utrecht, Netherlands. Despite Anritsu not having a stand of its own, its offering will be showcased on various other stands belonging to customers, distributors and partners. Visitors to the show will discover innovative solutions that empower the R&D community to meet today’s toughest challenges and see how Anritsu’s products are helping to make a difference in a wide range of microwave applications.

Anritsu’s VectorStar™ VNA will play a central role in Smiths Interconnect’s live demonstration at booth #B074, at which visitors can witness the precision and stability needed to capture the subtle effects of temperature on RF performance. In the demo, a surface-mount K2TVA attenuator is heated from room temperature to ~125 °C and measured with VectorStar™. The result will show a passive compensation slope of about –0.007 dB/dB/°C, proving its effectiveness in mitigating temperature-induced performance drift in high-power RF applications such as radar. The demonstration illustrates how VectorStar™ enables engineers to evaluate innovative components like Thermopad® with the accuracy required for today’s demanding RF systems.

RFCom (booth #D109), an Anritsu distributor, will showcase the EcoSyn™ Lite Microwave Synthesizer Module. EcoSyn Lite is a compact 10 MHz to 20 GHz signal source with best-in-class phase noise, +18 dBm output power, and ultra-fast switching under 50 µs. Its small 4" x 4" x 0.8" form factor makes it ideal for space-limited setups, supporting demanding applications from high-throughput ATE and radar testing to LO generation and high-speed optical systems. With USB/SPI control and easy automation, it integrates seamlessly into advanced test environments.

Using MS46524B Vector Network Analyzer, Altum RF (booth #B084B) will provide a live demonstration of the RF performance of its family of low-noise amplifiers designed for satellite communications, 24 GHz radar sensors, and telecommunications. Covering 12 to 44 GHz, these amplifiers are 50 Ohm matched, deliver high and stable gain, feature excellent noise figure, and operate with a single positive bias voltage.

TACTRON Elektronik (booth #C119) will demonstrate how Anritsu’s ShockLine™ Compact USB VNA MS46122B has been integrated with the Millibox GIM06 3D positioner and MBX02 compact anechoic chamber to create a complete antenna measurement system. The setup will test Eravant’s SAR-2013-282F-E2 WR-28 pyramidal horn antenna (20 dBi gain, 2.4 mm coax input), with automated measurements of gain, beamwidth, sidelobes, and return loss across the 26.5–40 GHz band. This demo showcases how Anritsu’s high-performance solutions support efficient and accurate antenna validation for next-generation RF and microwave designs.

With Anritsu’s ShockLine™ MS46524B VNA, material characterization can be performed efficiently using KEYCOM’s jig, leveraging simple S21 and TDR measurements. KEYCOM (booth # F040) will showcase its DPS10-02 Frequency Change Method Measurement System integrated with the MS46524B, which enables precise evaluation of dielectric constant and transmission attenuation for thick samples, low-loss materials, and metamaterials. The system is especially valuable for testing radomes in automotive radar and advanced materials for 6G, with measurement capability extending up to 330 GHz using frequency extenders.

Signal Solutions Nordic OY (booth #D150) will feature the latest MS2089A Site Master, a compact instrument that delivers lab-grade performance in a portable form factor. Combining multiple RF applications in one device, including spectrum analysis, real-time spectrum analysis, cable and antenna testing, 2-port VNA, vector voltmeter, and power meter, the MS2089A is a versatile tool for both field and lab use. Supporting technicians and R&D engineers alike, it enables accurate characterization and troubleshooting of RF systems. Covering up to 6 GHz with fast sweep speeds, wide dynamic range, 40 MHz IQ capture, streaming, and LTE-A/5G NR measurements, it ensures precise validation across telecom, aerospace, and defense.

Eravant (booth #A084) will showcase its new ACCESS portfolio in a live OTA demonstration, featuring a 55–95 GHz spectrum analyzer extender designed to integrate with Anritsu’s signal analyzers MS2840A using the MX284090A external mixer function. Built on proprietary technology, the extender delivers dramatic affordability, truly making high-performance mmWave testing more accessible. This plug-and-play solution requires just a single coaxial cable connection to the combined LO/IF port of an Anritsu analyzer. Additionally, the extender includes factory calibration data stored internally, which can be accessed via a USB Type-C interface.
