New Pogo Pin single contacts and male headers

Fischer Elektronik GmbH & Co. KG based in Lüdenscheid, Germany, is expanding its product portfolio in the field of connectors. New to the range are spring contact pins, which are revolutionising flexible connections on printed circuit boards. These are available both as single contacts (PGP S 01) and as male headers with 1 to 50 contacts (MK 52 PGP).

All designs have a gold-plated surface, which ensures excellent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. In addition, customised designs are available that can be adapted precisely to the technical and mechanical requirements of the customer.

Spring contact pins – also internationally known as pogo pins – offer a number of technical advantages. Their spring-loaded design ensures a permanently reliable electrical connection, even in the presence of vibration, movement or tolerance deviations. They are also designed for a very high number of connection cycles (>10,000), making them ideal for proof and testing applications, repeatable plug connections and modular device connections. Due to their compact design, pogo pins are particularly suitable for use in space-critical designs, such as those found in mobile devices, wearables or miniature assemblies.

By expanding its product range to include these versatile contacting elements, Fischer Elektronik is strengthening its position as a reliable partner for precise and robust connection solutions in electronics manufacturing.
