With the second generation of its PrevaLED COIN COB range, OSRAM takes professional lighting design to the next level – thanks to efficient technology and brilliant light combined with a stylish, contemporary look. Following our PrevaLED COIN 35 COB G2, the new PrevaLED COIN 50 and 111 COB G2 now seamlessly complement the product range.
You’re looking for chic and trendy design? And superior lighting quality and flexibility are key criteria for your project? Then this portfolio is the perfect choice for you. Areas of application range from modern homes, to hospitality businesses, right up to shopping malls, consumer markets and shops.
Leading-edge technology of the second generation
The COIN 50 LED modules stand out due to their compact form factor, making them compatible with conventional MR16 lamps, whereas the COIN 111 are ideal for replacing traditional AR111 lamps. In addition to its elegant, high-quality visual appearance featuring the OSRAM branding, OSRAM has now successfully enhanced the product’s efficiency from up to 111 lm/W to up to 128 lm/W.
The LED modules come with two operating modes for optimizing their performance or efficiency, allowing you to choose between full luminous flux (HO mode, High Output) and reduced energy consumption (HE mode, High Efficacy).
Brilliant light meets high flexibility
What makes PrevaLED COIN 50 and COIN 111 COB G2 so special is, first and foremost, their outstanding lighting quality. All variants ensure a high color consistency of <2 SDCM. The COIN 50 LED modules achieve a luminous flux of up to 1,550 lm and the 24° and 40° beam angles allow you to orchestrate perfect lighting. Furthermore, 15° variants will be available from the summer of 2021.
The COIN 111 LED modules provide a luminous flux of up to 4900 lm and beam angles of 15°, 24°, 40° and 60°. Planners, designers and architects can use various covers to conveniently adjust the lighting atmosphere to the individual task. And: From now on, they can choose from even more light colors and color rendering values.
The color temperature range now includes 2700 K, 3000 K, 3500 K, 4000 K and 6500 K. OSRAM thus combines high performance and efficiency, optimized lighting quality and superior variability in one comprehensive product portfolio.
