EXTENSION OF THE PACKAGING OPTIONS FOR MALE HEADERS WITH A GRID PATTERN OF 1.27 MM (SLV W 3 / 4 / 5 SMD …)
The steadily increasing trend towards packaging forms suitable for automatic machines is unbroken. As a result the inquiries and orders for machine-compatible packaging for connectors in "tape & reel" packaging have increased significantly in recent months.
All designs, grid patterns and possible numbers of contacts (depending on type) from 2-contact to 20-contact/ 40-contact are ordered. Where it is necessary and reasonable, a pick and place pad is applied as a plastic moulding or also as a Kapton disc. Those are removed again after the soldering process.
In this context Fischer Elektronik has developed two new pick and place pads to ensure the automated placement of male headers with a grid pattern of 1.27 mm. In addition the SLV W 3 SMD ...; SLV W 4 SMD ... and SLV W 5 SMD ... male header series can be ordered with pick and place pads in the packaging options bar magazine or tape & reel. We also develop and produce customised bar magazines and tape & reel solutions especially for your application.
Packaging options pick and place pad in bar magazine "... B SM" and pick and place pad in tape & reel "... B TR" on request.
