Second Phytec Development Kit with the NXP i.MX 93
Phytec has released the phyBOARD-Nash i.MX 93 Rapid Development Kit, another addition to their development kit lineup featuring the i.MX 93 processor.
This kit provides full access to the functionalities and interfaces of the NXP i.MX 93 processor and the accompanying Phytec System on Module on a reference platform. It allows direct access to the application development and simplifies prototyping. The NXP i.MX 93 processor is known for its high computing power, energy efficiency, and favorable price-performance ratio. The kit includes all necessary components for direct start into development, a board support package with comprehensive security and device management features, and a startup guarantee. The phyBOARD-Nash i.MX 93 kit is available now in the Phytec shop and costs 160 Euros plus VAT.
High Computing Power and Energy Efficiency in a Small Form Factor at an Affordable Price
Phytec‘s compact 36 mm x 36 mm System on Module (phyCORE-i.MX 93) integrates the NXP i.MX 93 processor, featuring two ARM Cortex-A55 CPUs with a clock speed of up to 1.7 GHz and an onboard real-time MCU with a Cortex-M33 core. It supports LVDS displays, MIPI CSI-2 cameras, Ethernet, USB, and CAN-FD interfaces, among other interfaces. An expansion bar allows for custom circuit expansions and provides additional signals from the i.MX 93 processor. Designed as a soldering module, it is optimized for cost-effective and efficient series production.
The module is directly soldered onto the phyBOARD-Nash using plated half-hole soldering technology. The kit includes all necessary cables, adapters, and connectors for commissioning. Phytec ensures a rapid start into development with their startup guarantee and support. It also includes a RAUC client for update and device management.

The phyBOARD-Nash i.MX 93 Rapid Development Kit is the second development kit for the NXP i.MX 93 processor, designed to utilize all functionalities of the processor. Additionally, the phyBOARD-Segin is available, emphasizing the pin compatibility of three Phytec SOMs with the processors NXP i.MX 93, NXP i.MX 6UL, and STMicroelectronics STM32MP13.
