Murata will showcase its latest innovations in telecommunications and connectivity at Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona 2025. Between March 3rd to March 6th attendees of the show will be able to explore how the latest solutions from Murata, as well as subsidiaries pSemi and ETA Wireless, are designed to improve the performance and sustainability of Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN), 5G, IoT, and data center communication.
MWC acts as a catalyst for collaboration, bringing together key stakeholders in the mobile ecosystem, including operators, manufacturers, and technology providers, to explore and drive innovation in the telecommunications sector. At 2025’s show Murata will once again highlight its wide range of communication products through several engaging technical demonstrations.
Murata’s Diverse Solutions
Addressing the need for elegant network deployment solutions, Murata will highlight both iSIM hardware solutions and the ZENCROSS Alliance. By merging Murata’s low-power hardware with cellular connectivity, cloud services, and a leading device Connectivity Management Platform (CMP), ZENCROSS aims to ease the burden and costs of managing distributed IoT applications worldwide.
Visitors to the stand can discover how Murata’s three-in-one Soil Sensor brings IoT-based intelligence to agricultural and horticultural operations through a combination of wireless communication and advanced sensing technology. The three sensors built into a single package enables the simultaneous measurement of the electrical conductivity (EC), moisture/volumetric water content (VWC), and temperature of both soil or water helping to increase yield and sustainability by allowing for more efficient management of key resources.
Furthermore, Murata will showcase a number of hardware solutions designed to seamlessly integrate into countless IoT and edge applications, ranging from wearable devices to medical monitoring equipment, allowing for the addition of communication such as Wi-Fi HaLow and NTNs.
Murata will also be showcasing its latest Centralized Power Systems for Data Centers and Edge Computing, based on Open Rack v3 (ORv3) specifications. These systems reduce energy consumption, improve power efficiency and minimize maintenance costs. In addition, we will present our latest AC/DC Power Converter Module which complies with the M-CRPS standard to meet the growing demands of AI-driven GPU workloads. This offering includes a wide range of form factors and configurations. We will demonstrate a vertical power supply solution designed for high-power xPU applications to support the AI server market.
pSemi Reference Design and Communication Modules
pSemi, known for its innovative RF, analog, and mixed-signal integrated circuit (IC) solutions, will present a complete reference design for network infrastructure providers. This advanced 5G sub-6GHz RF Front-End (RFFE) integrates pSemi RF front-end components, Murata filter and passive devices and a third-party field-programmable gate array (FPGA) to showcase the reference design’s differentiated performance and accelerate designers time-to-market.
Also on display will be a wide range of ultra-compact and energy-efficient communication modules, including three comprehensive solutions manufactured on pSemi’s cutting-edge UltraCMOS® process – its patented silicon-on-insulator (SOI) technology.
The PE562212, is a fully integrated front-end module (FEM) engineered for Thread and Zigbee® applications, that further integrates Bluetooth® and low-to-medium throughput Wi-Fi to enhance its capabilities. The PE423211 is a highly efficient, 50Ω SPDT RF switch using HaRP™ technology. It is designed for high-performance applications including industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM) band, WLAN 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth®, and UWB communication supporting frequencies up to 10.6 GHz. Suitable for wireless infrastructure, including massive MIMO (mMIMO) macro and micro base stations, 5G, and small cells, the PE44951 is a highly integrated two-way phase shifter with digitally controlled step attenuators that can be used across the 6.42 to 7.21 GHz frequency range.
