TDK Corporation presents three new B8272* series of compact EPCOS SMT common-mode chokes specially developed for low-voltage applications. They sustain voltages of up to 48 V AC (50/60 Hz) and 80 V DC, and continuous currents between 1.8 A and 19 A at an ambient temperature of 40 °C. The new series cover a range of inductance values between 0.59 mH and 5.6 mH.
Three IP67 switches expand Turck's portfolio – two unmanaged variants and one managed switch. The two TBEN-Lx-SE-U1 feature eight 100 Mbit ports for the efficient networking of cells that don't require managed functions.
Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage Corporation and Toshiba Corporation (collectively “Toshiba”) have together developed the world’s first[1] 4.5-kV double-gate reverse-conducting injection-enhanced gate transistor (RC-IEGT[2][3]). Toshiba confirmed a total power loss, when switching on and off (switching loss), reduction of 24%[4] compared with the conventional single-gate structure.
STMicroelectronics, a global semiconductor leader serving customers across the spectrum of electronics applications, announces a new platform to accelerate the introduction of digital car keys giving consumers keyless access to vehicles via their mobile device.
